How to use the Ride Tracker feature on Jayride.com

We are excited to introduce the new Ride Tracker feature on Jayride.com, designed to provide transport companies with real-time visibility and control over their bookings.


Accessing the Job Sheet:

To begin using the Ride Tracker feature, simply access your job sheet. Once you're on the job sheet page, you will notice a few updates to enhance your booking management experience.


Booking ID on the First Page:

Now, you can find the booking ID conveniently displayed on the first page of the job sheet. This unique identifier allows you to easily reference and identify each booking.

Shareable Link:

To facilitate collaboration and communication with your team members or drivers, we have introduced a shareable link for each booking. By clicking on the shareable link, you can quickly share the booking details with your drivers so they can easily track the events for that ride.

Live Status Tracking Buttons (Ride Tracker):

Adjacent to each booking, you will find the live status tracking buttons, also known as "Ride Tracker." These buttons enable you to update the status of the journey in real-time, providing accurate information to Jayride.com and our customers. The following status options are available:

Please make sure drivers allow the location permission on their mobile.


There are five buttons available:

  1. On my way to pickup: the driver should click this when they are heading to the pickup location
  2. Arrived at pickup: once the driver has arrived at the agreed pickup location, they should click this button
  3. Passenger picked up: Once the driver has met the passenger, and before heading off to the destination, the driver should click this button
  4. Passenger dropped off: once the passenger has been delivered to their drop-off location, the driver should click this button

And in case the driver has arrived at the pick up location, and waited the agreed time and the passenger does not respond or show,  we have the following:


  1. Passenger no show event


By selecting the appropriate button, you can indicate the current stage of the journey and provide real-time updates. Please ensure that you update the status as each event occurs to maintain accurate tracking and visibility.


It is important to use these buttons consistently and accurately. This feature plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for both you and our mutual customers.


The new live status tracking feature on Jayride.com's job sheet empowers transport companies with enhanced visibility and control over their bookings. By leveraging the booking ID, shareable link, and live status tracking buttons, you can streamline your operations, improve coordination, and provide real-time updates to Jayride.com and our customers.

We strongly recommend that for dispute purposes, evidence (photo at pickup spot, communication evidence) is still required to be collected and saved.
